Scanjet Macron SMA 2000 series is ready supplied as a complete system either as a single or dual point system. The system complies with the latest IMO, USCG and classification requirements.

SMA 2000 is especially developed with two independent power sources, main source for 115/230 VAC, and back-up source for 24 VDC as described in rules and regulations.

The system consists of the sensors, magnetic floats with reed switch, and electric cabinet with alarm display unit.

Basic Principle
Scanjet Macron Independent high level and overfill alarm system is based on magnetic floats moving upward with rising fluid level. The hermetically sealed reed switch is activated by the magnetic float. This signal is connected to an alarm display unit via IS barrier.

This way the audible and visible alarms are activated in the alarm display unit as well as the external alarms with horn and light on wheel house top.

Application
Cargo tank high level (95%) and overfill (98%) alarms for all kind of crude oil, product and chemical carriers, FPSOs and offshore vessels.
