Scanjet Macron magnetic float type level gauges have been developed to comply with the requirements of IMO SOLAS.

This type of gauge has excellent performance and is maintenance free because there is no glass in the product.

It is widely used for chemical service tanks, as well as HFO, MDO and fresh water tanks without any limitations.

Basic Principle
Layers of individual small piece of magnetic rotors, with face side colored red and back side colored white, which can be turned one by one, are mounted in the front chamber.

As the liquid level changes up or down, each magnetic rotor turns and shows white or red because of the magnetic force in the built-in magnetic float.

Once the magnetic rotor has been turned, it remains steady showing either red or white color until the reverse magnetic force acts on the rotor and turns it is showing the other color.

The rotors show totally red for liquid in tank and white for empty part of tank.
